Roast the beans

First step in our chocolate making process : getting good cocoa beans, and roasting them.

We are working with cocoa beans from Cahabon, Guatemala, which are organic. They are from transparent trading, something that we value, as it strikes to make a change in the way to cocoa industry is led at the moment. Speaking of change! We are trying as much as we can to be respectful of the environment, therefore we minimize our wastes and try to ban plastic as much as possible from the kitchen. Those beans are then roasted by our care (filling the kitchen each time with a delicious brownie smell).
